Psychiciatry...

Today I had a person explain to me with great emotion - "I don't need psychiatric help... I am not a psychic."

Possible responses were considered:

1) "You're not our psychic patient??? Well.... ((putting my clipboard back down by my side)) I guess that about wraps it up."

2) "I knew you were going to say that..."

3) "There's a radio in my fingernail...CAR!! ((as my left eye twitches))"


...I went with a version of #1.
