This week has been interesting. About two weeks ago we received an email informing us of "GENITAL WEEK," and yes, that was the subject line, in all caps; almost like it was some yearly event that everyone looks forward to. Like, perhaps "Shark Week," on the Discovery Channel.

I guess I should explain to those who don't know, that the school hires professional patients for us to work with, who are willing and able to coach us on what was/could have been, a very awkward first time pelvic, rectal, and genital exam. So in the long run its a good way to get the jitters out of the way and get constructive advice on how to be more confident and professional.

Did they really have to do it on Valentine's Day though? Or was this some sort of depraved administrative joke: "Hey Buzz, lol's, look what I did....hehehe....I put Nick's first female gyno exam on Valentine's Day haha, hope he brings flowers!!! ....We're funny..."

All joking aside it was a great learning experience, and hats off to the professional patients for being so serious, professional, and knowledgeable.

On bit of a lighter note, Ashish's parents were in town this week. Great people. They were nice enough to treat us to dinner at Mini Club, a sort of upscale buffet on the French side. There were laughs, a lot of wine, a small fire on the buffet line which Mike and I extinguished, tens of pounds of lobster, a guy singing calypso music on guitar to "People in the front- MOVE the line, People in the back - HUNGRY," and yes, he even had a CD titled - "Move the line" Which of course we bought.

Back to respiratory physiology, adios.
