Been a while...

Well, I've been a little busy with the boards, but I finished taking that today, and for anyone from school who still checks this thing - the one pearl of wisdom that I took out of today was that USMLE World was right on the money. I went on a 500 question a day binge (second time through) for the days leading up to the test and it really helped.

Today is the first time in a while that I don't feel guilty for doing things like eating, sleeping, or spending time with friends. In fact, I had been keeping a list of things to do when I finished the test. We'll see if my credit really gets checked or I take tennis lessons - or if I actually just sleep until noon every day for the next few weeks. I'm thinking less of the former and more of the latter...

There is something I've also been meaning to post because it is the most silly/pathetic/funny thing I've ever seen. Not that I'm hard-line on the left, or the right for that matter. But some people really go to extremes. I was flipping through good ole' south Louisiana cable the other day, and every once in a while I like to stop on the "Christian" channel just to see what's crackin' and behold... I find the single most insane, guitar wielding, intolerant, bearded, weirdo that the Christian world has ever seen - Robert Breaud.

With such hits as "YOU'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!!!," "It's Not O.K. to be Gay" "Abstinence," and "It's a Baby, Not a Blob." It begs the question - how can you really go wrong?

If you listen to "abstinence" be sure to listen all the way through to where he starts trying to make rhymes about human papilloma virus and AIDS statistics - this guy is a cultural treasure.
